Sketch

I needed a suitable mentor for players to appear in Dark Heresy campaign that I hope to GM soon.
Unnamed (at this point) Ordo Hereticus inquisitor with almost radical beliefs, yet she is about to burn anyone who dare to make such accusations.

I highly base the model on Inquisitor Adrastia from Dawn of War: Retribution, so i will need to do much sculpting, or (which is much more probable) i will find a better sculptor than me to have the work done.

More buildings, less free time.

Some Post-apoc/Necromunda/Africa trash huts i already finished.

And a group shot.

Shanty town Mk.2

I considered the mistakes of previous buildings. New ones are much smaller. I think of doing clusters with around 2-3 layers of huts, and put some more details in them, like plain, non goffered plates, wooden planks  and real doors. Also I did some walkways for warriors (be it Necromunda gangers, or some military man causing democracy in poor quarters of Arabic country) to navigate between roofs.

Wellcome to shanty town!

Ideas come and come. Some stay for a long time, and don't let me go. Other are no more than the flash in the night, what weathers in a matter of days. Yet I don't know witch group this project belong to.
I got my hands on some cheap goffered cardboard recently, and that led to some post-apoc style terrain pieces.

Some fences and entrance to the settlement. It will be definitely called Jane'sTown.

Though, I wish i had some miniatures near when I did the houses. Only today I figured out they are way to big. Well, i guess that makes this the houses of some really rich ppl. Next buildings will be half as big, with lower ceilings. On the second thought, i can make more huts on the roofs of this ones.
The door portals are covered with jeans fabric to curtain the entrances. Maybe ill make actual doors on the future buildings.
And yeah, cardboard i got is colored in random colors, so i made pictures greyscale. That should prevent your eyes from bleeding.
