Cavemen in Normandy!

Не так давно группа ученых Туле нашла в Гималаях несколько замороженных пещерных людей. Решено было доставить их в секретную лабораторию в оккупированной Франции и оживить, но эксперимент пошел не по плану. Неандертальцы освободились и теперь бродят по пригородам Нормандии. Оперативники Туле были отправлены, чтобы найти и ликвидировать их.

A while ago a group of frozen cavemen were found in Himalaya by Thule scientists. They were moved to a secret facility in occupied France, somewhere in Normandy. Scientists returned the cavemen to life, but the results were unexpected. Cavemen broke free, and now roam french suburbs at night. A group of operatives were sent to find them.

Пока французский городок спокоен. Нацисты быстро продвигаются через город, чтобы найти свидетельства присутствия пещерных людей. На другой стороне стола, первобытные охотники используют свои умения, чтобы незаметно передвигаться по бетонным джунглям.

French town is quiet for now. Nazi operatives move swiftly to locate evidence of cavemen whereabouts. On the over side, cavemen are using their hunting skills to remain unseen in between strange stone constructions.

Нацисты успешно забирают две сюжетные точки. пока удача на их стороне.

Nazis successfully uncover two plot points in short time. The luck were on their side for now.

Но внезапно Ганц и Франц замечают тень среди ящиков вблизи склада. Атака неандертальцев внезапна и яростна.

Suddenly Hanz and Franz saw a shadows between the crates near the storehouse. The cavemen attack were fast and furious.

Остальные бойцы спешат на помощь, только для того, чтобы быть сметенными пещерными людьми. По пути они еще и теряют сюжетные точки.

The remaining team raced to the rescue, only to be as well massacred. Also they dropped all plot points in the process.

Когда с подручными было покончено, пещерные люди настигают и офицера. В последней попытке сбежать он сигает с моста в реку. Где его уже подстерегает неожиданный неандерталец.

When henchmen were done, cavemen came for the Officer. In last desperate attempt to flee he dodged from the bridge into the flooding water. When suddenly an unexpected caveman rose from the waters (the Hostile fortune card).
A swift and unexpected defeat. Thule will surely remember this.

Пробую возможные конверсии для БладБола. Пока не определился с тематикой команды. Кислев возможно. Или Сартозианские пираты. Или Мордхеймские Метеоры. Иногда просто слишком много идей.

Testing some conversion possibilities for my Blood Bowl team. Not sure what theme to pick up. Kislev maybe. Or Sartosan pirates. Or Mordheim Meteors. Too many ideas sometimes.

Немного стандартных прозрачных баз для команды. Нахожу предпочтительным, чтобы фигурки не выделялись травкой с подставки на бетонной дороге или наоборот.

And some standart (for me) clear acrylic bases. I found myself liking when miniatures dont stand out from terrain.

Echoes of Weird War

A gang for a Pulp Alley games.

This is something special, as it is based on old Savage World campaign we used to have in Weird War setting. Standartenfuhrer Mitke were a Thule occult society agent and a recurring foe of our characters. We had a lot of fun together with this bastard. Mitke was somewhat different from plain Nazi officers and foes we encountered. He always had that aura of secret around him, and I still have a feeling he is a part of something greater and much sinister than just a Nazi occult weirdo.

Represented here with fellow Thule agent Helga Von Schmidt and a few henchmen.

And a few simple terrain pieces for local gaming club. Suitable for modern and pulp alike. The roof is removable, though i scewed up a bit, and it might end up glued to the carcass.

Gave her a name of Francesca "Frankie" Carter. More of a grave robber she is, even willing to work with the nazis for a fresh findings of old ages.

Also found a suitable car for 1930s.

Few more characters for Pulp Alley. Statuesque miniatures are superb pieces. this particular three reminded me of noir style Witcher fan art. Colors are not 100% match, but hope I caught the style.

Also a group of nazi henchmen for weird war gaming. Going to use this for a demonstration game of Pulp Alley.

A pulp adventures will not be complete without some pulpish creatures. This will do great as scenario plot points or monster encounters.

And a little bit for the progressing terrain. Picture frames for mansion pieces. This will make walls more alive. A plane is also a valuable piece. Who knows when you need one? Unassembled for the ease of painting.

Mansion of Dante

Test pieces. The little rooms the size of small Mansion of Madness tiles can be a little too small for wargaming terrain. Still like the results.

Curse of the Sands AAR

There was a sunny day in the desert, when winds that rule the dunes revealed old ruins in a place no one expected them to be. Not long till Miskatonic University expedition came there to investigate. And not long, till any communication with them were lost.

A few days later, three separate groups were aiming at the same very ruins for their own reasons. The archeologists from american Miskatonic University, who were summoned from homeland, going to investigate the disappearance. The soldiers of British Expeditionary force led by Professor, with mysterious orders from command. And finally, Andrey and Anton, the Russian immigrants, opportunists and occasional grave robbers.
Five plot points were set in and near the camp, alluring adventurers with treasures and valuable information on the ruins. However, scattered bodies were indicating there is something more in the ruins. Something sinister

British forces started with the initiative, rushing forward to nearest ruins. The gang of Sikh soldiers lost few men in a perilous ruin. And a few moments later they were scattered by the fire of grave robbers.

The harmless lady found first point of interest. Some kind of entrance to the ruins caught her attention, were she were not so lucky to reveal its true nature the same turn.

Archeologists cautiously closed to the ruins on the other side. More occasional shots echoed across the camp. One of the grave robbers were shot few times and assaulted by trusty british dog. Finally he dropped dead, and his companion decided to get to a more discrete position.

Meanwhile the combatant closed on one another. Some of them received flesh wounds but continued to fight.  The next plot point were revealed to be expedition leaders tent. Archeologist got valuable information there but suddenly on of them were shot and dropped the paper he gathered. His companion recovered the papers but the man were gone.

The only remaining grave robber made a few shots, but it were obvious he got little to do here alone. He retreated soon.

The archeologist girl finally searched the ruins. Grabbing her findings she returned to her friends. A native African volunteers from the british force closed on the other plot points. Only to be shot a while later.

Finally british professor made a terrible discovery in one of the tents. The mummy recovered from the tomb by the expedition were not so dead. Empty eyes gazed on the unfortunate man. Suddenly one of the archeologists fire a shot on mummy, perhaps saving life of the professor. The dead queens wrath fallen on three American adventurers.

Meanwhile professor and his companion were trembling before ancient evil. They decided to leave the fight for the americans, while they grab the remaining plot points getting the information of the ruins and some ancient relics from the ruins.

Eventually the six turn ended. Archeologists escaped the mummy with two plot point. British force were more lucky, getting three points with them. The mummy ended alone in the robbed ruins.
No doubt, eventually she will find her treasures and take revenge on the thieves.

The game were pretty fun. I was organizing it as GM and mummy player. Of three other players two were new to Pulp Alley, though rules appeared to be simple enought for beginners.
Also want to say thanks to our wargaming colleagues from local gaming club for burrowing their victorian miniatures for that game.
